Ty Baynton may have grown up in the small town of Waterdown Ontario, but this ‘Canadian Country Boy’ has stadium sized vocals. He has always had an appreciation for music with influences including Randy Travis, Tom Petty, and Oasis. At age 14, in his third-generation family farmhouse, Ty picked up his grandfather's guitar and never looked back.Ty wrote his first song by age 15 and found his love of performing in local coffee shops and bars.

Ty is currently writing and recording new music with plans to release in mid 2018. The new songs showcase Ty’s strong vocals and songwriting abilities. With production by JUNO award nominee Nathan Ferarro and sound engineering by 2017 JUNO recording engineer winner Jason Dufour, these crowd pleasing tunes will turn some heads and get fans up on their feet.

Ty released his first self-titled EP in 2012 and saw the lead-off single Out Here On The Farm achieve nationwide air play in Canada, and the southern USA. This album garnered him a nomination for Best Country Artist at the Toronto Independent Music Awards. Ty followed this up with his signature song, Canadian Country Boy, which launched him on a series of cross-Canada tours and back into the recording studio for a full length album - Good Ol’ Boy.

Ty has had the pleasure of hitting up major festivals including Boots & Hearts, Manitoulin Country Fest, several RAM Rodeos and countless small fairs across the country. Direct supporting act for Gord Bamford, Chad Brownlee, Hunter Hayes, High Valley, Tim Hicks, and Blake Shelton to name a few. With a killer voice, infectious smile, and boyish charm, Ty is definitely a breakout artist worth paying attention to.
